Case 44
Based out of St. Louis, Case 44 is a blues/rock band founded by Robert and Steve; a couple of guys who just want to play the music they love and have fun doing it. They brought in Guitarist/Lead vocalist Michael James Johnson to join the fun, and the rest is history. Their set list includes multiple genres from Blues to Rock & Roll.
Robert Elmore
Bass/BGV- Self-taught since the age of twelve; Robert moved to St. Louis in 2016 and started sitting in at local jam sessions and meeting musicians. Robert met Steve at the National Blues Museum “Sitting On The Porch” jam sessions and both played with Sisters Magnolia and The Weeds. Influences include: Marcus Miller, Leon Wilkeson and John Paul Jones.
Steve Eschbacher
Born & raised in St. Louis, has been playing drums for 50 years.
Early influences covered various music genres including pop, classic rock, funk & blues. Wedding reception/original/cover bands, drum instructor – music has always been part of his life.
Playing with various St. Louis bands & jam sessions, now enjoying playing a multi-genre list of songs from several decades of popular music with “Case 44”.
Michael j. Johnson
Guitarist and lead vocalist has had a passion for music since age two that continues to this day. Major influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, Jerry Garcia, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Carlos Santana. Mike met Steve and Robert through playing jam sessions at The National Blues Museum.
